H&H Scaffolding Services LTD hope all of our domestic clients are doing as-well as can be expected in this difficult time.
This post is written to show our clients that we have been working and making efforts to keep everyone safe who are involved in our work. This aims to explain to you all how we will be working so that we follow the government's guidelines to protect the NHS and help save lives.
The recent message from the government is that construction work is now allowed to resume, so from now on we will be taking on all scaffolding projects providing they can be carried out safely. We realise that these guidelines can change at anytime so we will be keeping a close eye on updates to ensure that we fully comply with the restrictions.
Here are some the things we will do to try and keep are scaffolders and customers safe.
Travel
Firstly where possible our scaffolders will travel to work by themselves to comply with social distancing rules, using private vehicles rather than public transport where possible.
Home owner customers
We will be keeping social distance measures with all customers throughout the duration of our work, from the time of quotation, to erection and dismantle of the sacffolding. We will call ahead of time to let our customers know when we are arriving to that they can do what is needed to be done before we arrive. We will ask all of our customers to stay inside their property as much as they can when we are working and keep windows and doors closed.This means no cups of lovely tea, coffee or sometimes even biscuits from our clients that our scaffolders enjoy, for the time being. We are not being rude when refusing refreshments, but this is to protect our clients and ourselves.
Payment
We accept online BACS payments to avoid contact with clients, However where clients need to pay cash we will ensure arrangements are made, to avoid direct contact between our staff and client.
Erecting
While it is very hard to keep social distance for scaffolders erecting jobs we will try our upmost to keep at a reasonable distance at all times. We will wear PPE where it is appropriate. We will minimise the size of the groups working on each project to make it easier for social distancing to be upheld.
