Typically the higher the scaffold is the longer it will take to erect as the scaffolders will need to hoist the materials up using the most appropriate and safe methods. For example, a light duty scaffold erected for a man to mastic windows or change guttering will require a lot less material than a loading bay that is erected to hold multiple tonnes of weight.
